Good to know

Legal basis: Companies Act, 1994, its amendments and the applicable rules of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC). RJSC's online system provides name clearance, registration, filing and certified copies.

  • These are RJSC's published general deadlines; we check whether they apply to your type of company and the latest amendments.
  • The 1–3 weeks for a new company is a planning estimate. RJSC approval, document corrections and, for foreign investment, banking and encashment certificates can take longer.

What you receive: registration certificate, certified MoA/AoA and forms, proof of filing and up-to-date company registers.
